I’m Colin, the owner of CDMS, a plastering service based in Edinburgh that’s been trading since 2004.

Fully qualified to HND level 3, I offer all the services related to plastering, and as an independent trader pride myself on the personal service I deliver and recommendations of happy customers.

Plastering Services

I provide a wide range of services including:

  • Skimming, the final finish on a wall, which also covers old or slightly damaged plaster
  • Dry lining, plasterboard erection over brickwork, studwork, or badly damaged walls
  • Cornice & coving, the erection of both, or repairs to existing
  • Ceiling rose placement
  • Wall straightening, to ensure a wall is flat for a tiler, though not a paint finish
  • Rendering exteriors wall coverings
  • Render repairs to match existing render
  • Artex cover over, scraping off existing artex and skimming to a smooth finish
  • Plaster repairs to plasterboard, lathe, plaster cielings and walls
  • Lime plastering, the old way of plastering houses with lathe and plaster

My Customers
